half pipe
So far the lockdown has been pretty boring. So Me and my Dad are building a half pipe in my backyard in about two to three weeks. We have been watching all the videos of how to make a halfpipe so now we're ready. I have an old trampoline in my backyard but it's broken so we’re making a halfpipe there. I only just started skating so I'm not very good but this is why we’re making It. The first time I ever went skating was when I was 8 in Lyttelton with my cousin. My cousin is only 6 but he’s way better than me but if I had a skate park at my school and next door to my house I would be pretty good as well. I used to think skating was so hard but it’s actually quite easy you just have to not be scared and JUST DO IT.

I love your story Maz it was exiting to read. I hope you get good at skating in the time of the quarantine. Maybe next time put some pictures in.
ReplyDeleteHey good to see you are now on your school blog! I agree with Ryan - it would be good to see some pictures of what you are doing!
ReplyDeleteWhat have you been up to today?
Hi Maz
ReplyDeleteHow awesome to have your own halfpipe! My husband has skated for many years and loves ramp skating (however, I am terrible and can only stand on one.) What are you going to make it out of? Plywood? How tall will it be? My daughter, Evelyn who is 5, got a skateboard for her 5th birthday and she is learning to skateboard too.
Good luck and yes, I would love to see a photo of it when it is done.
